PINK IS THE FLAVOR

Dress: Timeless Boutique, Shoes: Topshop, Sunnies: Topshop

I have been eager to do an all pink look for some time now (before Rihanna's monochromatic moment.) This blush mock neck midi frock from Timeless, a boutique in Los Angeles, was the perfect pink statement. I paired the dress with suede pink mules and my faux fur purse turned clutch. To top the look off, I added my pink cat eye frames. Why stop at the outfit? The Paul Smith building on Melrose Avenue served as the perfect pink backdrop. It's clear that pink is currently my favorite color of the season.

I'm also having fun experimenting with my hair. I used a temporary dye spray to create an ombre effect. This is the first time in a while that I have tried color and I am loving the golden honey blonde against my skin tone (since my undertones are considered gold.) Now I am thinking of possibly going fully blonde for Summer!

Noir et Blanc

On Me: Dress: American Apparel, Shoes & Bag (sold out): Topshop, Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters
On Niké: Culottes: Forever 21, Coat: Forever 21. Shoes: Zara

I did a collaborative shoot with my friend and fellow style blogger Niké from Specs and Blazers. Black and white is one of the most timeless combinations that will never fail. We both played with a wide, knee length silhouette and smacked on a red lip for a subtle pop of color. Since my hairstyle has changed, I have become way more comfortable experimenting with my personal style. The graphicness and tent shape of this dress screamed Mod. I added modern day touches with my favorite Topshop shoes and wristlet.

Culottes (aka Gauchos) are making a huge comeback, but in a more tailored sense. Adding classic touches such as a stiletto pump and a white T with a coat thrown over the shoulder gives these pants a chic touch.
